Job Description:
Provides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering.
Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures;
verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
Mandatory Skills:
Demonstrated experience performing IA activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing and sustainment
Experience with employment of IA requirements, policies, and processes to include authorization and accreditation as part of the RMF process
Experience with risk and vulnerability assessments and mitigation
Demonstrated ability to provide guidance on Intelligence Community (IC) Cyber/IA regulations and requirements to senior customers, senior LM leaders, and the program engineering staff
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) correlation tools, Scanning (Nessus), and Host Based
Security System (HBSS)

Job Description:
Performs system and program auditing to ensure compliance to system security plan.
Conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for secure implementation and compliance in accordance with government regulations and information assurance/cybersecurity guidelines. Creates, maintains and submits information system security documents and reports to regulatory agencies and leadership.
Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security documentation; assists with the implementation of security procedures; verifies information system security requirements; performs information system certification and accreditation planning, testing, assessing and liaison activities.
Familiar with information system security architectural documentation standards.

Provide architectural / risk based analysis of information assurance / cyber security features and relate existing system to future needs and trends and requirements.

Skills Required
Windows client/server background. Some UNIX/LINUX technical experience, knowledge of OS security requirements and IS (Information Systems) auditing experience.
HBSS and SIPRNet experience required.

Experience Required
Previous ISSO and SIPRNet experience needed.

Education Required
Bachelor or equivalent work experience.

Due to recent growth and on-boarding of new clients, we have an immediate need to hire a full-time Senior Network Security Engineer to join our Professional Services team that covers North America. Our ideal candidate is someone that is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, but we are also very open to someone working remotely anywhere in the United States. Our Professional Services Team is responsible for product deployments with customers, training customers on our product suite, providing value-added services and consultative advice, and designing solutions for our clients. As a Senior member on our team, you will be looked on to lead projects and implementations while mentoring some of the more mid-level PS Engineers on the team.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will provide a wide range of Profession Services solutions to our clients from coast-to-coast. This role will require a strong understanding of network architecture and design because a lot of the day-to-day will encompass solving the customers problems by building network models that emulate the customers network. Once you have modeled the customers network, you will be checking for vulnerabilities and customizing our product suite to make sure it is fully optimized for the client’s environment. You will be interacting with clients over the phone, via Web Ex, Skype, and other virual tools. There could be a little bit of travel involved with the role, but it would be minimal (up to 10%). You will be leading clients through the onboarding process and providing value added services to help automate processed and help with integration / implementation activities. You will need to be able to create scripts on your own (Python / Perl) to create automated processes and customize our products to fit client specifications. As a Senior member of the team, you will need to be comfortable leading client meetings and managing projects from planning to completion.

What You Need for this Position

7+ years of experience in a professional Network Security engineering capacity
3+ years of experience in a Professional Services / Client-facing role
Comprehensive understanding of network architecture with a focus on Layer 3 networking
Strong background and hands-on experience with firewalls (CISCO, Juniper, Check Point)
Experience with vulnerability scanners and vulnerability management tools
Ability to create network models based on a client’s existing network
Scripting skills in Python or Perl
Experience leading customer projects, providing consultative advice to clients, and lead client training sessions
Intermediate – Advanced Linux experience (administration, configuration, etc..) – our products are all Linux based (CentOS)
Bonus Points for Penetration Testing experience or experience with MySQL queries
Professional Certifications highly desired (CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, etc..)

The Vehicle CyberSecurity Researcher is responsible for performing vulnerability and penetration testing against Nissan’s vehicle product line. The Researcher will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment, documenting and reporting on security events, incidents, and investigations. The Researcher uses best practices and generally acceptable techniques to identify potential issues and then engages with engineering to remediate the issue. The Researcher also must work closely with other departments (legal, Internal Audit, Engineering, Government Affairs, communications, etc.).
