SCCM Engineer in Dallas TX FULL TIME POSITION

Position:               Systems Engineer – SCCM
Duration:              Fulltime
Location:              Dallas TX
DART requires 1 Expert level Systems Engineer that has experience and a successful track record implementing Microsoft System Center Manager including Configuration Manager, Orchestrator, and Operations Manager.  System Engineer should have developed production testing, documentation and change control procedures for System Center Suite.
The candidate will provide the following deliverables:
●       Work directly with Microsoft and Agency System Administrators in preparing SCCM infrastructure.
●       Using Microsoft best practices, Install and Configure Microsoft SCCM 2012/2016 within a VMware ESX virtualization environment consisting of (but not limited to) the following modules:
○        Configuration Manager
■        Software Deployment
■        Update Management
■        Anti-Virus Central Management
■        Asset Management
■        Integration with Service Now
■        Database Population
○        Orchestrator
■        Run Books as defined by the agency
■        Infrastructure configured for use
■        Run Books practical use training
○        Operations Manager
■        Infrastructure configured for use
●       Provide training and knowledge transfer to named IT Operations users.
Candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
●       Five (5) years’ experience in installing, configuring, and supporting an Enterprise SCCM environment.
●       Working knowledge and the ability to use all modules within SCCM.
●       Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
●       Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of enterprise hardware, software, and associated equipment.
●       Ability to work variable shifts and work hours to perform installations, upgrades and repairs.  Available in the event of required emergency response.
●       Demonstrate high level analytical and creative skills to find solutions to complex technical problems and the ability to explain and propose solutions.
●       Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams.
Certifications and Technologies
       Current MCSE 2012 server infrastructure certification is preferred .
                     Certified ITIL Foundations (nice to have).

Solution Integrator and Architect

Job Duties:
The Solution Integrator and Architect will work with senior classified solution architects, Program Engagement Leads (PEL), Business Partnership Leads (BPL), and Program Services to define business needs, architect new IT services and create example implementations that system administrators to successfully implement new capabilities for their users. This role requires the documentation of architectures, designs and implementations. The solutions integrator and architect strives to reduce the environment complexity through a consistent use of enterprise and business standards and works to reduce solution costs through the creation, documentation and use of common solution frameworks and components to maximize reuse. They are responsible for maintaining an understanding of existing and new technologies as well as ongoing RMS business and GBS IT capabilities in order to leverage this understanding to provide appropriate business solutions. They are responsible for developing and documenting best practices in their area of expertise and frequently work implementation teams to ensure a high quality solution is deployed.

Knowledge/Skills Desired:
• Cisco and Microsoft Certifications (CCENT, CCNA, MCTP, MCSE, Security+, Network+)
• Experience implementing large-scale IT solutions in a multi-platform enterprise
• Working knowledge and experience of enterprise storage technologies
• Working knowledge and experience of data backup technologies, systems, principles, and safeguards
• Working knowledge and experience of fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts
• Working knowledge and experience of virtualization technologies from Xen, VMware, and Microsoft
• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements within JAFAN 6/3, JSIG/RMF, or NISPOM
• TOGAF 8,9 Certified
• Experience using Visio and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect to create architectural artifacts
• Experience using Archimate, Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) or Unified Modeling Language (UML)

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

Will work as an Information Security Architect/Engineer in the Division of Information Security and assist with the implementation, integration and operationalizing advanced security technologies. Develop operational plans for integrating and implementing security technologies within existing division and agency infrastructure and operational processes. Develop full life cycle processes and procedures along with repeatable guides for standard implementation and assist agencies as needed to incorporate systems.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Information Security architecting, engineering and operations. This is a full information security to include, systems, network and procedural.
Work with existing staff to architect and deploy advanced information security systems in a highly complex distributed enterprise environment.
Develop installation, configuration, and operational process/procedure documentation to enable Division of Technology and Agencies to install and operate approved security solution.
Work with Security Operations Center to identify enhanced data collection and correlation capabilities in existing data and gaps in data collection/analysis architecture, systems and procedures.
Identify and develop solutions for preventing, detecting and mitigating risks to information and information systems.
Conduct training as necessary to division and agency personnel on security processes, procedures and methodologies to ensure security event information is properly identified, correlated, documented and mitigated in accordance with department standards.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or 8 to 10 years’ experience.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
CISSP, CEH, MCSE, CCSP
